I first contacted Barry Allred in the early spring of 1998, discussing briefly with him my concept of a compact, portable radiant plasma resonant frequency generating system. Much has been done since then!
With the development of the " Model 4 EM+ " research systems, and all of the newer EM+ Systems since then, the array of plasma tubes ("Containment Vessels") that can now be driven and used with these systems has grow in diversity as well as dynamics. With the advent of the Model 4E ( and newer) systems, two plasma tubes can easily be used simultaneously. Newer gas mixtures and increased gas presdsures are now producing more dynamic results.
Since there is no RF carrier used / needed with the EM+ radiant Plasma system's mode of operation, these tubes were designed to also be used either in "radiant mode", or in direct contact with specific target areas, inducing a greater amplitude of resonance in that application than is possible with a purely 'radiant' mode of exposure.
Spirall Plasma Tube Hand Pieces
Earlier in 1999, I had been brain-storming with Barry Allred for a while on a design for an external plasma tube hand piece which could be used with the EMEM2+ systems. Barry's 28+ years of professional experience, combined with his artistry in glass, have resulted in this spiral design plasma tube hand piece. It is about 4" in diameter, made from 15mm glass tube, with about 5 feet of special high voltage wire leads that connect into jacks in the system's case.
The handle area is covered with a closed cell foam. In use, all of the energy of the energized plasma tube is transferred directly to the desired target area of the subject's body; when used with the 6" by 9" stainless steel grounding plate supplied with each research system, this should provide the most effective method yet for effectively inducing a resonant frequency into a specific area of the body.
Reports from researchers are telling of consistant reductions in Prostate Cancer Sufferers' PSA test results, at a more rapid rate than was being seen when working with other radiant plasma devices. These handpieces is now their preferred method of application.
In mid-2000, We brainstormed on a newer design for the spiral plasma tube hand piece, adding another full wrap, while reducing the glass tubing diameter by 20%, keeping the overall diameter at under 4-1/2" for reasonable portability. The above photo shows the result (in the foreground), gassed at the higher 15 Tor pressure with the newer dynamic E-gas mixture, and thoroughly conditioned. Tests indicate a 25% greater amplitude of radiated plasma energy, compared to the previous model of handpiece (as shown in the previous photo above), in identical test setups. The three wrap coil shown in the photo above is about 8-1/2" inside diameter; nearly 7 feet of glass tube formed into this shape to fit easily over knees, or even a head. I designed & built the form over which these tubes are made, and sent it to Barry, so that we could begin to have these unique tubes available.

Above is a Double Bubble tube with 15KV wire leads & boots, mounted in one of the tube support stands, ready to plug into the output jacks on the "Model 4" and newer control systems; these can be either used as a purely radiant device or as a contact device, mounted in a tube support either horizontally or vertically, or lifted out and used in contact with a specific target area. Use with or without a stainless steel grounded foot plate is reported; when used in conjunction with a grounding plate, this can greatly enhance the amplitude of the induced resonances within the body.

In answer to your inquiries about an internal electrode getter, here is what I can offer as to an explanation.
The coating most commonly used is barium strontium carbonate, which is reduced to barium strontium oxide during the heating of the tube manufacture. The oxide coating is a good source of free electrons. In laymen's terms, the getter works as a scavenger inside the tube which is heated 100's of degrees to drive out and open the deep layers of the glass.
As the glass is heated, the electrodes turn cherry red, thus breaking down the barium inside the tube, which is trapped within the walls when it cools back down. After the tube is vacuumed, then gassed, and pressured, then the tube is sealed. This can leave a small impurity in the tube, from the hand torch. Having barium inside the tube, enables the tube to age in on a burn in transformer, usually 60 milliamps. After the heat inside the tube dissipates and the tube begins to burn cool, it is ready to be shipped.
A tube that has been properly pumped will have very little heat with better impedance for a cleaner signal. Ceramic collars are used to keep the gases clean and to keep down impurities.
When a tube is properly pumped and aged, a tube will last 30 years. I have been bending and processing for over 30 years, and have tubes in service that are still burning.
