Welcome to my window on the high country of Colorado and the world!

My name is Bruce Stenulson, and I've lived in these mountains for 47+ years.

Among my many interests, I love to design and build things which fly. I fly an ultralight aircraft, a PPG Quad, as well as a variety of RC aircraft.

Flying PPG Quad at Three Rivers Junction

Above: This is me flying over the Bill Williams River at the Three Rivers Junction in April of 2020, flying my latest ultralight aircraft project: A water cooled POLINI THOR 250 Dual Spark engine mounted on a Skymax Lowboy Quad. This engine is rated at 36+ HP at sea level- extra power available for high altitude flying in South Park!

Photo below was taken during a flight on October 10th 2020 ;  Mount Quandry is on the right, Northstar mountain on the left foreground, with part of Mount Lincoln in the rear to the left. The Blue Lakes are seen in the center of this scene, with Mount Clinton behind & above them.

Part of this web site is designed to present information on my approaches to designing, scratch-building, and flying radio controlled aircraft of many types, including gliders and slope soarers, as well as both electric and glow powered planes, some flown with floats, skis, and wheels, in all seasons of the year. I've offered a variety of info & photo essays here. These days, I do most of my flying in the PPG Quad, but I still enjoy occasionally flying a few of my RC aircraft. I'm not into drones or helicopters- my interest is in aircraft which I design, build, and fly myself.

Below is my latest design / build project, a variant of the HIGHLANDER XL, Inspired by Just Aitcraft's Highlander; 44" wingspan, 35" overall length, with 28" floats

My personal quest for better health has lead me on a fascinating journey of discovery that continues to unfold. Bioelectromagnetics and induced resonance approaches are fields of research which I've explored extensively. In the past I have tried to share some of what I've discovered with those who were interested. While I do not presently offer new experimental research equipment for other researchers, I do occasionally part with some of the equipment which I have on hand, and  I continue to pursue my own research as resources allow.
